Todd Reid brings years of real world racing experience to the EVSR team. Starting in 1994 at track events, he moved up the ranks to become a nationally certified Instructor for Porsche Club of America. In addition to PCA, Todd also instructs for BMW, Ferrari, Lotus and the National Auto Sport Association. Topping off his instructor duties, he is the Head Instructor for the Independent Motorsports Group. Not content to sit idle, when he is not instructing for an organization, Todd is also a professional driving coach teaching people the finer points of competitive driving.
As a racer, Todd has built a winning record, becoming the 2007 and 2009 NASA Mid-Atlantic Regional PTE Champion, setting lap records at Summit Point Raceway and Virginia International Raceway. In 2011, Todd took home the NASA National PTE Reserve Champion.
Todd is also the resident TV Star, with appearances in many racing themed TV tapings such as “Race Track Combat” and the “Robin Hood Rally.” He was also the odds on favorite to win everything on “Are You Faster Than A Redneck?” He won all of his competition rounds and was expected to win overall against American V8 power (in a Honda Civic) until an untimely engine failure cut his day short in the last round.
Currently he enjoys racing his 1993 Ford Probe GT in the Independent Motorsports Group PI-4 class, where he is undefeated. He also races a Lotus Super Seven in the Vintage Racer Group and a Honda Civic in the Global Time Attack Series.
